MLD Presenting at World Orphan Drug Congress in Amsterdam

MLD is excited to announce that it will be attending World Orphan Drug Congress (WODC) Europe in Amsterdam from October 27-29th. WODC Europe is the leading conference in Europe on the development of drugs for orphan diseases. The small patient populations in these orphan diseases means that the traditional drug development guidelines become impossible to implement, and as such, learning from others in the orphan drug space is paramount.

MLD is thrilled to announce that in addition to attending they will be presenting a poster focused on the RCDP Voice of the Patient Report, as well as two oral presentations designed to spread awareness about RCDP and the PPI-1011 drug development program. Tara Smith, EVP Innovative Therapies at MLD will be presenting a talk entitled “An integrated approach to gathering the voice of the patient in an ultra-rare pediatric disease” in the Patient Centricity track, while Shawn Ritchie, CEO and Chief Scientific Officer, will present “Development of synthetic plasmalogens for the treatment of RCDP and other conditions” as part of the Biotech Showcase.

Anyone attending the conference who would like to meet and discuss the program is encouraged to reach out through the conference platform.
