MLD attending International Plasmalogen Conference

Med-Life Discoveries (MLD) is excited to share that we will be attending the Conference of the International Plasmalogen Society (IPLS) taking place at the Center for Brain Research, Medical University of Vienna in September 2023. This is the third conference held by the IPLS and represents a unique opportunity to connect in-person with other researchers within the plasmalogen field. Plasmalogens are increasingly being recognized for their importance in human health, with new publications coming out every month. This two-day conference will showcase the broad spectrum of plasmalogen research that is ongoing around the world, including their role in health and disease, as well as their biophysical and biochemical properties. Anyone attending the conference that would like to arrange a time to meet to discuss MLD’s work on the development of an approved pharmaceutical-grade plasmalogen replacement is encouraged to reach out by email to t.smith@med-life.ca.
